One fine day, the Master introduced us to the Lord of All Mercies,
Universal Savior, Revealer of Deepest True Heart.
And there he was, present among us and within us,
True heart of love revealing true heart of love, in all of us.
I looked around, and most of us appeared confidently happy,
Joyous to see him again.
But one woman’s cheeks were covered with tears of joy.
Yes, I recognize those tears.
And I watched closely, secretly, as the tears continued,
On and on as she dabbed her cheeks and eyes with tissue.
Sun, rain, and that leads to rainbow…
Yes, there it is!
Her whole face flaming with love and resolve.
All doubt and self-definition dropped beside the road.
Gratitude, and “I will be you, you will be me,
we will go all the way together, and no one will be left behind.”
