In the the twentieth century, scientists said the world is made of: … particles and energy, … possibility waves and measurements, … symmetry groups and non-commuting operators, … acausal data and complexity and emergent phenomena, all in a majestic curving sea of space and time.
But I say, in a deeper human sense, the world is is made of: … math and beauty, … wretchedness and compassion, … stories of wandering and awakening, … pure flowing colors and sounds and joys and longing, all in an uncontainable weightless sea of awareness and love.
